Zen Meditations

The true artist, master of his art, knows how to create his work and at the same time the rules, the canons and the criteria that allow him to master his work perfectly. All the genius of this artist resides in his capacity to transgress the criteria that he himself created where it is necessary, in order to spare his work any constraint, rigidity or monotony. This makes the difference between the master and the disciple, a creator and an imitator, a free spirit and a limited mind, between a great artist and a mass producer.
